“I am deeply over-whelmed with the recognition, and I hope more people from the community come together and educate each other on basic human rights, and encourage each other to lead a life of dignity. The documentary has done an exceptional job in sensitizing the society, and I hope many would benefit when it releases to viewership for the masses” - Mx. Dhananjay Chauhan

“Being ‘different’ is a handicap in itself. The journey with the making of the documentary and it being received by film festival across the world, both have been tedious, yet very fruitful and encouraging. Documenting from a specific perspective  is very challenging and for the audience to absorb the crux is the icing on the cake. I am overwhelmed with the critical acclaim being showered to the subject, and our attempt to keep it very organic and raw for the better connect with the hearts. This documentary is close to my heart as this testing journey unfolded right in my home town. ‘Admitted’ explores the journey of a ‘different wonder woman’ who rose above stigma, self loathing and self denial aiming at the life of dignity for herself and also hundred thousands more who just because of their orientation are denied a respectful living. Admitted is one riveting journey of courage, determination and the will to become what you want to be!” - Ojaswwee Sharma
