Admitted all set to release on eve of World Transgender Day 2020 | 30th March

The most anticipated and awaited documentary - ADMITTED*,  based on Dhananjay Chauhan, the 1st Transgender Student of Panjab University, directed by Ojaswwee Sharma, is all set to release this March on Rolling Frames Entertainment and Veblr digital platforms.

Film Release on Monday, 30th March, 2020 - on the eve of International Transgender Day of Visibility 2020.

The documentary strongly unearths advocacy of transgender rights and right to education through Dhananjay's personal life (biography) as striving for education to a social activist.
The film has been filmed entirely in Chandigarh with major sequences filmed within the Panjab University’s premises, and is a subject matter of pride for the Panjab University’s and Chandigarh’s enabling environment for Education and Equal Rights as the subject rightly caught the eyes of serious cinephiles, across international film festivals.

The documentary was officially announced on 22nd August 2018, and till date, Admitted has screened at some of the world’s finest film festivals such as :

Admitted has officially been supported by the Canadian High Commission in India, and has been screened at the American Centre, New Delhi on the eve of International Transgender Day of Visibility 2019.

Admitted has been written about in all major daily newspapers and major international journals.

Famous film critic Ajit Rai also mentioned Admitted on his article on 'Emerging Transgender Personalities through Films and Art'

This would be“Admitted’s” formal digital release worldwide  on the eve of International Transgender Day of Visibility 2020 through the film’s flag-off launch and film screening for the University’s students and Professors, at the Panjab University.

Following the launch event, Admitted would be available to watch “Free-Of-Cost” to viewers on Rolling Frames Entertainment and Veblr (watch links would be made available through all major social media platforms). The film will also be available to watch through Veblr Mobile App.
